Review: Let The Little Children Come Sampler Pack

As someone who grew up in the Catholic church, I’ve seen a lot of the ways that particular branch of the church used to try to reach children and help children to understand the Bible.  There were a lot of different things, and while some of them maybe have worked.. looking back, a lot of it seemed pretty cheesy.

But good news! I have something new to share with you.  I was so excited when I was asked to review a new cool sampler pack of child evangelism tools.  I’d never considered getting something like this for the kids, and this was a great start.  The sampler pack I received is filled with a few things that you could buy more of, to give you an idea of what everything is like.  It’s the perfect little starter.

These are really cool. They are wordless bracelets (one is a silicone bracelet and the other is a kit).  Each colour represents a different idea and the children are encouraged to look at the different colours when praying.  It’s a really great visually appealing way to remember God’s love for us.

I really liked these. You fold them over and over and they tell a story.  It’s a fun thing that kids can do by themselves to learn Bible verses.  These ones were a lot of fun to use.

These are pop up books, and we really liked using these as well.  My toddler enjoyed looking at and seeing the popups, but my younger son was a bit too young for it.  As my daughter is getting older, she’s less likely to rip the pop ups out, which makes them more fun.  These were great stories as well.

I don’t think I super got these.  They were interesting, for sure, but not something I would use with my little ones.  Maybe if they were a bit older it would have worked better.

Overall, I really enjoyed this sampler pack.  The container it came in was great for my daughter to open and close herself, and we enjoyed reading through all the stories together.
