A few of my favourite blogs

a few of my favourite blogs

I’ve been blogging for over three years now, and part of being in the blogging “scene” is reading other blogs!  I had read other blogs before deciding to start my own as well, but I’ve definitely added way more to my reading list since I started blogging myself.  Blog blog blog!

Here are a few of my current favourites:

The Daily Savant
I’ve been following Signe since I started blogging, and I’ve really enjoyed watching as her style has changed over the last three years.  She also went from living in the States, to living in Germany, and she’s about to head back to the States.  It’s been a fun read for sure, plus she takes really fun pictures! I wish I was as adventerous as she is when she goes out to take outfit pictures.

Animated Confessions
This is a local blog, which makes me appreciate it even more!  Sybil posts outfit photos, mostly of her in different places in Winnipeg, and she also posts reviews of local restaurants, coffee shops, and stores.  After reading her reviews, it makes me really want to get out more and check out the small local places, so I love reading about what’s new.

Bows and Clothes
I just recently started following this blog, after I discovered (through twitter) that Sarah is a fellow Dressember participant!  It was super fun seeing how she wore her dresses all month, and I’m looking forward to seeing what she writes about the rest of the year

Carolina Charm
This is one of my all time favourite blogs!  Christina is really open about things going on in her and her family’s lives, and it’s really nice to see online.  She’s got some of the cutest kids, and I love hearing updates about them.  I can’t get enough of this blog, and I look forward to every new post.

Coffee and Crumbs
Oh my gosh, this is another must-read for me.  I follow them on instagram and as soon as I see they have a new post, I immediately go to my computer to read it.  Coffee and Crumbs is a collaborative effort written by a bunch of different moms in different life circumstances.  What they write about is so real, so heartfelt, and I love it so much.  I can relate to most, if not all, of these posts.  I can’t get enough.

So, it turns out that I have a lot more favourite blogs than I thought, so I’m going to continue this list next week as well!  Stay tuned 🙂
