It’s become tradition for me to share little parts of our wedding day on each of our anniversaries, so I’m going to continue with that today, on our anniversary 🙂
I can’t believe it’s been three years since we got married. This last year had the most changes for sure though, out of all three years. The biggest one being that we had a baby. We also bought a house, and we’ve been working on the house ever since we moved in (well… Andrew more-so than me haha). It’s been an awesome year, and I can’t wait to see what this next one will bring.
But on to the pictures!
One of my favourite things about getting our pictures taken at the U of M was the engineering building! I love the staircases, and the fact that the lighting was all natural and perfect.
Love this crew <3
similar to how it’s been this year, it was pretty cold out! gotta cuddle up
I love the way the tables looked. Andrew made the little wood discs for the place cards, and we used glass jars of various sizes with candles for the centerpieces. I know a million people have since done the glass jar thing, but I like the way it looked.
Our wedding favours were little spruce seedlings. One of the best things about these as our favours is knowing that there are at least 100+ little trees out there from our wedding. It was also a really easy favour.. we got them from the Manitoba Forestry Association. If you’re in Manitoba and you’re interested in doing this, too, check out their website here! There is even an option where they make the cards for you and put all the seedlings in little baggies, which is what we did. It was so great!
We named each table according to different constellations. I liked going away from the typical numbered tables, and it was fun thinking up which constellations we wanted to use.
Looking back at these pictures was so fun! Maybe I’ll share even more next year 😉
