This week wasn’t easy. I had a few uncomfortable days, a few pretty discouraging days, and it made getting things done not easy. Let’s just say that while I was still always able to provide hot meals (and only semi-burned) for myself and my husband, the laundry did not get taken care of. Whoops! There’s always next week, right? This pregnancy stuff makes doing things difficult sometimes, especially when it comes to being able to physically move around. Running is totally out of the question, and sometimes walking for too long is, too. It’ll all be worth it in the end though, right?? :p
Despite all that, here were a few things that made me smile this week:
I really liked this article about how being a stay-at-home parent is a luxury … for your spouse! I never thought of it that way, but it totally makes sense, and I saw that in action, too, when I was a nanny.
I don’t know why I was reminded of this song this week, but it was fun to listen to! Hope you have fun hearing it again, too
My favourite verse this week:
There is no fear in love, but perfect love drives out fear, because fear expects punishment.
The person who is afraid has not been made perfect in love.
-1 John 4:18
Have a great week!
