Styles I’d Love to Wear

There have been quite a few fun summer style items I’ve seen around a lot that I would LOVE to also wear … if I wasn’t currently 6 months pregnant.  If it’s because I don’t think it would work for me right now, or for other pregnant related reasons… I’m just not comfortable with actually wearing these trends myself at the moment.

Here are some of the styles I’d love to wear right now:

1. Jumpsuits

trends I wish I could wear

I love jumpsuits and rompers. I have a few, I’ve worn them before.. but they were one of the things that I wore early in my pregnancy because I knew that I wouldn’t be able to later in my pregnancy.  Even then, it was super uncomfortable! I could probably wear a romper if I really wanted to, however, being that I go to the bathroom ALL THE TIME, it wouldn’t be fun and I would be super uncomfortable. Not what you want when pregnant!  So everyone else, please wear this so that someone can enjoy it! 😉

2. Fit and Flare Dresses

This style of dress is my jam, normally.  But right now, not so much.  The top part digs into my sides and leaves a nasty red mark on my skin. Not fun!  I need to wear dresses that have an empire waist or are super stretchy, otherwise it just isn’t comfortable.  At first, I could wear something like this for the duration of the day… but now, I’m uncomfortable after about 5 minutes of wearing it.  Please wear these dresses so I can live vicariously through you!!

3. Anything belted

Much like the fit ‘n flare dress, anything with a belt does not work for me right now! It squeezes and I feel like I can’t breathe.  I see so many “Maternity Style Inspiration” ideas on Pinterest that feature belts, but I know that I couldn’t actually wear them myself because I would be WAY too uncomfortable for the whole day.

So everyone! Please wear these styles this summer, and maybe I’ll be able to wear them again next summer 😉
