I’ve been sitting here, just staring at a blank screen for a while now. I don’t know what it is about 2014, but I seem to be having a hard time coming up with new years resolutions.
I’m not one who doesn’t believe in them, as I’ve seen often. I do resolutions every once in a while (like new school year ones), so it’s not like I can’t change them or add to them later.
The things I’ve come up with so far is as follows:
01. I want to get more sleep
I’ve been sleeping quite terribly lately, so it would be nice to be able to get into the habit of going to bed at a reasonable hour and getting enough sleep. I truly think that getting enough sleep would make me a better person, because I wouldn’t be as grumpy. Maybe I’d also be less sensitive.
02. I want to bake more.
I want to bake one cookie recipe a week. I have a book of 1001 cookie recipes, so it wouldn’t be too hard to accomplish this one. I just really like being able to have cookies in the house, and to give them away to friends.
03. More healthy/physically active
I just feel like I could be doing more. I walk every day that I have school… I think I make pretty healthy meals. I must be, considering my husbands good health. I want to get back into doing hot yoga, or something like that.
04. Read more books
Over the summer, I had the opportunity to read LOTS, and it was AWESOME! I like reading on the bus. It’d be nice to get back into that habit.
I think that (based on these) the one word that keeps popping up is More.
