The newest question in my blog group this week was, what are six experiences you would like to have?

I love what’s been said so far, so I thought I would share mine today 🙂

6 Experiences:

1.  Own a house
Lately, I’ve been dreaming about having my own yard and my own space, so I could decorate it as much as I want!  I can’t wait until we can have a place of our own.  Aside from when I lived with my parents, I’ve always rented.  It sucks to be at the mercy of some random landlord who doesn’t really care about you.  I’ve always been a good tenant (with the exception of one party.. which wasn’t even that loud! We were playing CHARADES for pete’s sake!!) and I always leave my apartments cleaner than the way I received them.  I am really excited to be able to put that care into my own place.
This current apartment isn’t that nice, tbh.  There is a lot of work that needs to be done (mostly because the people who painted and fixed the shower did a terrible job and it really shows). I would love to improve it, but it’s not my space so it would be a waste of time and money to put that kind of effort into the apartment.

2. Have a baby
I have MAJOR baby fever.  Luckily, I know a few people who either just had a baby or are about to, so I can look at their pictures on instagram and facebook and live vicariously though them, while still sleeping in sometimes and occasionally going out for alcoholic beverages with friends.

3. Graduate university!!It feels like I’ve been in school FOREVER!! But it hasn’t really been that long.  I just want to finish!  A lot of the pictures I saw of graduates in the last little while have made me feel so jealous of them! But, I’m working hard and I will graduate (one day)…

4. Go to Hawaii
Maybe it’s because it’s super romanticized in movies, but I’ve always really wanted to go there!

5. Sew a dress
I’ve done it before as a teenager, I want to do it again as an adult!

6. Learn to play my ukelele!!
I’ve had it for almost a year now, and I can kind of play a crappy sounding version of Happy Birthday. I want to be able to play longer/better songs.

xoxo,
Alysa
